2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Bristol & Reed and to every agreement established between Bristol & Reed and the consumer via the website www.bristolandreed.shop.
By placing an order, the consumer declares to agree with these terms and conditions.

3. Offer and agreement

• The products and prices displayed on the website constitute an invitation to place an order.
• An agreement is established as soon as payment for the order has been completed and Bristol & Reed has sent a confirmation by email.
• Important: During checkout, customers must explicitly acknowledge that personalized print-on-demand products cannot be returned under the 14-day cooling-off period.
• Errors or obvious mistakes in the offer do not bind Bristol & Reed.
• Because all products are produced on demand, the final product may show small color or size variations compared to the image on screen.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
• Payment takes place via the payment methods offered by the webshop (Shopify).
• Bristol & Reed reserves the right to change prices. The price that applies at the time of ordering is binding.

5. Delivery and execution

• The production and shipment of orders are handled by our production partner Prodigi Group Ltd. (United Kingdom).
• The average delivery time is 5–15 working days. In exceptional cases (such as delays at customs or postal services), this may take longer.
• If delivery proves impossible, for example due to incorrect address details, Bristol & Reed has the right to cancel the order or resend it at the customer's expense.
• If the order has not been received after 30 days, Bristol & Reed will send a replacement copy free of charge, unless the provided address was incorrect.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

Please note: Because all products are produced on demand (print-on-demand), the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days does not apply to these personalized items (article 6:230p sub f Dutch Civil Code).
This exclusion will be clearly communicated during the ordering process, and customers must acknowledge this before completing their purchase.
• Returning or exchanging due to a change of mind is therefore not possible.
• If a product is damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered, Bristol & Reed will send a replacement copy free of charge.
• In that case, the customer must send an email to support@bristolandreed.shop within 14 days of receipt, including:
o A clear photo of the damage or defect
o The order number
o A brief description of the problem
• In most cases, the damaged product does not need to be returned.

7. Shipping, risk and import duties

• Once an order has been shipped, the customer receives a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
• Damage or loss during transport is at the risk of Bristol & Reed until the moment of delivery.
• EU customers: no additional import duties or VAT costs are due.
• Customers outside the EU: any import duties, taxes or customs fees are at the customer's expense.

8. Warranty, guarantees and complaints

Legal guarantee (EU Consumer Rights):
• Bristol & Reed guarantees that delivered products comply with the agreement for a minimum period of 2 years from delivery date (legal guarantee under EU law).
• This means the product must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
• For posters specifically, this covers: correct colors as advertised, proper print quality, no production defects, and reasonable color fastness under normal conditions.
• This legal guarantee does NOT cover normal wear and tear or damage from customer use.
Product quality:
• Our production partner Prodigi provides professional quality printing with a 100+ year color guarantee on fine art prints when properly maintained.
• Complaints about defects or non-conformity can be reported via support@bristolandreed.shop with a description and photos.
• Bristol & Reed will respond within 5 working days with an appropriate solution (replacement or refund).

9. Liability

• The liability of Bristol & Reed for defective products is governed by the applicable legal provisions regarding product liability and consumer protection.
• For other damages, liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order.
• Bristol & Reed is not liable for indirect damage such as consequential damage, lost profits or missed savings.
• These limitations do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.

10. Force majeure

Bristol & Reed is not liable for delays or shortcomings that result from circumstances beyond its control, such as malfunctions at production partners, carriers, customs or natural disasters.

11. Intellectual property

• All designs, photos and texts on the website are the property of Bristol & Reed or of the relevant artists and may not be reproduced without written permission.
• By placing an order, the customer does not acquire any rights to these designs other than for personal use.

12. Privacy and data protection

• Bristol & Reed processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.
• For the execution of orders, certain personal data (such as name, address and email address) are shared with our production partner Prodigi Group Ltd., who acts as a processor.
• Bristol & Reed uses cookies on the website. More information about this can be found in the Cookie Policy.

13. Product sustainability information

In line with upcoming EU regulations on consumer information:
• Product durability: Our posters are printed on high-quality paper designed for long-term display when properly framed and maintained.
• Environmental considerations: Products are printed on-demand to minimize waste. Our production partner uses eco-friendly, non-toxic inks where possible.
• Care instructions: For maximum longevity, display prints away from direct sunlight and in normal indoor humidity conditions.
• Local production: Orders are fulfilled from the print facility nearest to your location to reduce transportation emissions.

14. Dispute resolution

• Applicable law: Dutch law applies to this agreement.
• Competent court: Disputes can be submitted to the competent court in the district where the consumer resides or, for business customers, to the Amsterdam District Court.

15. Changes

Bristol & Reed reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. The most recent version is always available on the website. By continuing to use the website, the customer accepts the amended terms and conditions.
